Halloween is undeniably synonymous with candy. We all know I have the biggest sweet tooth…in fact, one might say that 90% of my teeth are sweet. As a kid, I loved Halloween. The memory of running around freezing our fingers and toes in the cold has faded but the image of dumping our overflowing bags of treats on the family room floor is still crisp and strong. I was never a big fan of gummies or hard-candies but gimme-gimme-gimme all that chocolate! While no chocolate was ever turned away, Kit-Kat bars were always my favourite, then and now!

While my trick-or-treating days are lllooonnnggg behind me, I still love getting the house decked out, carving my pumpkins and stocking up on all my the kids favourites. Whether you’re using up leftovers or making these as a treat for any other time of the year, everyone will be sure to love this sweet & salty delicious combo.

The Kit Kat bar with its smooth and crisp wafer layers add just the perfect amount of creamy chocolate to the cookie. On the flip side, the addition of salty and crunchy bites of pretzel give this cookie an incredible, one might say addictive, taste. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
